ABOUT

Hi 你好 สวัสดี! I am Long-Jing Hsu 許瓏瀞 หลงจิ่ง.

Welcome to my journey where technology and gerontology intersect to foster active aging. As a Ph.D. student at Indiana University Bloomington, I'm dedicated to enhancing older adults' lives through co-designed, meaningful technological solutions.

My path from Bangkok to the world of gerontechnology at National Taiwan University was driven by a passion for using technology to create impactful social connections. Today, my research focuses on integrating technology with the daily lives of older adults, developing robots that align with their ikigai, and improving caregiver relationships through technological interventions.

Beyond academia, I'm an active member of the "Old Farts," a group of older adults who meet weekly for hikes or cycles, sharing technological insights and stories. This lively exchange enriches my understanding of technology's role in active living, grounding my research in real-world experiences.

My work aims to contribute to a future where technology supports an inclusive, engaging, and purposeful aging process. I'm eager to connect with fellow researchers, collaborators, or anyone interested in the dynamic field of aging and technology.

For collaborations or to learn more, feel free to reach out. Together, let's explore how technology can enhance active aging for all.
