I conduct research at the intersection of human–robot interaction, AI, and aging. I completed my Ph.D. in Informatics (Human-Computer Interaction) at Indiana University Bloomington, where my dissertation focused on designing technology for and with care (see video below).​

 

My research brings together older adults, caregivers, community stakeholders, memory care facilities, and technical teams to collaboratively design technologies that matter. Across my work, I lead interdisciplinary projects, organize long-term co-design workshops, and develop socially interactive robots that support meaning-making in later life.
