I conduct research at the intersection of human–robot interaction, AI, and aging. I completed my Ph.D. in Informatics (Human-Computer Interaction) at Indiana University Bloomington, where my dissertation focused on designing technology for and with care (see video below).
My research brings together older adults, caregivers, community stakeholders, memory care facilities, and technical teams to collaboratively design technologies that matter. Across my work, I lead interdisciplinary projects, organize long-term co-design workshops, and develop socially interactive robots that support meaning-making in later life.
